Feed.biz is a company specializing in marketplace and logistics solutions. It develops simple and scalable applications for complex feed management and web services. It also develops with PrestaShop applications based on the architecture of e-commerce market leaders: Amazon, Cdiscount, PriceMinister etc. These synergies combined with these applications contribute to the development of thousands of e-merchants.

Feed.biz is responsible for the collection and use of your personal data as described in this privacy policy.

We, Feed.biz, have determined our respective responsibilities regarding the fulfillment of the obligations set by the laws on the protection of personal data in order to process your personal data as part of its applications and services. In summary, we have planned that if you wish to assert your rights such as access to your personal data, correct, erase, restrict or dispute their treatment or withdraw your consent and the right to data portability, or if you have any questions or complaints about the processing of your personal data, you can contact us in accordance with the section “Your rights” (see below). If necessary, Feed.biz will ensure that you can assert your rights and that your questions and complaints will be handled. In addition, we have planned  that Feed.biz will inform you about the processing of your personal data as part of its applications and services in accordance with our privacy policies.

b. Your contact and personal account or registration information

When you exchange messages with your customers, or the system sends an invoice or a Seller Review Incentive by email, our system saves your information in the software database. 

e. Our exchanges with you

When you send us an email, our support service saves your questions or complaints in our database with the various elements provided to our technical team.

f. The information we collect when you use our websites, applications or other digital media

When you visit our websites or use one of our modules, we may record your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring site, browsing behavior and how you use our apps. We also collect information through cookies and other similar technologies when you visit our websites or use our software. 3. How do we collect your data?

3.1 We collect the categories of personal data mentioned above as follows:

a. We receive your personal data through your store, our PrestaShop partner and other marketplaces involved in the facilitation of your e-commerce procedures

We receive your data from these parties to process your feeds, implement your terms of sale and fulfill your orders. When you communicate a feed through a marketplace for example, we receive your credentials. If you use the third party platform to connect to the social media image, we may receive this data from that provider. 

b. When you use our websites or our modules, we collect information using cookies and similar technologies

4. For what purposes do we use your data?

4.1 We use your personal data for the following main purposes:

a. To provide you with our services

In order to manage your data feeds, implement your sales terms and fulfill your orders, we need to process most of the information listed above. We need, among other things, your name, company name, contact information, payment and login information for the various marketplaces.

b. To provide you with our online services and to offer you our applications

To facilitate your use of our online services or modules, we may analyze the data we collect when you use our digital media and combine it with information collected using cookies and similar technologies (see above). Our goal is for example to understand which digital channel (email, social media) or which device (desktop, tablet or smartphone) you prefer in order to restrict our communications to this channel or this device. 

c. For statistical research purposes

6. International transfer of your data

6.1 Feed.biz may transfer your personal data to countries other than your country of residence (including countries outside the European Economic Area). This is because the companies of our Group, partners or service providers operate in different countries around the world. The law of these countries may not offer the same degree of protection regarding your personal data. 

6.2 The transfer of personal data to countries other than your country of residence is often necessary in order to offer you services. In other cases, Feed.biz will ensure that adequate security measures are put in place to meet the requirements for the international transfer of personal data under the laws governing confidentiality. For the transfer of data outside the European Economic Area, Feed.biz is likely to make use of standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission as guaranties. 

 

7. Your rights

a. The right of access

b. The right of correction

You have the right to have your data corrected if it is incorrect or incomplete. You also have the right to have your personal data deleted, which means that we have to take care of, or as far as possible, any other responsible to whom we have already disclosed your data, to delete your data. Due to the way we manage certain services, it may take some time before backups are erased.

The circumstances that may give rise to this right include circumstances in which the accuracy of your personal data has been disputed but where we need time to verify their (in)accuracy. This right does not prevent us from continuing to keep your personal data. We will inform you of the upcoming lifting of the restriction. 

e. The right to data portability

Your right to data portability means that you can ask us to provide you with your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine readable format and that such data be transferred directly to another manager when technically possible. On request and when it is technically feasible, we will communicate your personal data directly to the other manager. 

f. The right of objection

You also have the right to dispute the processing of your personal data, which means that you no longer authorize us to process them. This applies only if the “legitimate interests” (including profiling) ground is the legal basis for the processing (see “Legal Basis” section above).
